Canadians believe that Michael Jackson is a child molester

A random telephone survey of 325 respondents in the Greater Vancouver/Canada regional district between February 2-7, 2004. Respondents were identified within the last 60 days to be supportive of either US Democrats or US Republicans. Respondents are 65% Democrat and 35% Repubican.

Should television camera's be permitted in British Columbia courts on high profile cases in order to ensure the public interest? Yes-52%; No-48%.

Commentary
Urban Canadian respondents who are predominantly in support of US Democrats agree with courts banning pre-trial evidence from the public. Respondents are of the opinion that our courts should proceed against those who breach such Court Orders. However many of these respondents also agreed that camera's should be permitted in courts in high profile cases. A majority of Canadian Democrats support the death penalty.
