Commentary
It's pretty obvious neither a casino nor On-Line gambling weekly minimum increases of 83 fold--are perceived positively by residents of Pitt Meadows in this ROBBINS 'straw' poll.
Though only a paltry number of respondents (8) in this poll supported a casino---- it is still by 3/50 more respondents-- asked--//interesting if nothing else.
The bridge between Pitt Meadows and Langley is a winner--and a great bridge--but that is where this inn(t)er city relationship ends.
The $10,000 minimums have got to be for the 2010 Olympics-- correct?
If you don't have a strong ethical bunch on your city council--and me, myself and I-- developers--- under foot--the first place they will go for is gambling--because it is lucrative and easy for them--.
Pitt Meadow residents are telling Rich Coleman and his old mates in the booze biz--'take a break padre and let the people breathe--before you take advantage of us again.'
