Glen P. Robbins candidate for leader of the BC Conservative party announces that "If a trial is not held in this case after five years of the BC Court and BC Attorney General's office stalling, legal wrangling and other nonsense and chicanery--I will do whatever is humanly possible, political or otherwise to bring all matters of investigation and inquiry into this sordid legal affair."
The Basi Virk corruption case follows an RCMP raid on the BC Legislature over 5 years ago.
Adds Robbins -- "Democracy is supposed to be predicated on free elections and the Rule of Law--we preach this to other countries all of the time, but we don't practice what we preach."
The current Premier of the BC, Gordon Campbell is a known liar---and until I see evidence--clear evidence to the contrary--this pathetic attempt at 'justice' gives me the distinct impression we should think no differently of the courts---a better word to describe this would be contempt.
The Courts are contemptuous of the people of British Columbia, we did not vote in these Judges---how do we not know--given the stalling, suspicion over emails--and other very disturbing information about this case based on the scant information made available, that there isn't more corruption involving the Courts--and the BC Attorney General's office?"
Robbins says "People in the media can call me a crackpot -- whatever they like --- I represent the majority of people in British Columbia as far as this case is concerned--it's a travesty--disgraceful---and I pledge to do everything in my power to get to the bottom of it."
